Any problems with it: Well, like all Takahashi's series, it's a bit on the long side - though MI is her shortest long-running series and was only difficult to keep an interest in while it was being released. Owning all 13 of the original translated volumes Viz put out, I have taken a weekend and sat down and read them all in order, and really enjoyed it. :) The characters do start out a bit two-dimensional, especially since I believe Takahashi was coming from doing "Urusei Yatsura" at the same time and working on MI as a way to wind down; with that in mind, the level of character growth in this series is really impressive. Also, a few of her characters get forgotten off and on in the series, which is sort of a common thing in Takahashi series. In this case, though, she even forgets to make them age along with the rest of the cast.
