The double meaning is that the emotional pain in the story is equivalent to the action of crawling 50 miles on broken glass, so... now I've entirely robbed the title of its subtlety and you may shoot me. *G*

• Random Info You'll Never Do Anything With: This wasn't the first fic I wrote, but it was the first one I completed and it's the earliest one I released. I have two others that remain unfinished and pretty much abandoned that were done earlier. It's entirely out of date, seeing as how the characters did a total 180 after the third season, but ya know - I still like it, more or less. I preferred the characters this way anyway.
  
• This got written after I watched a rerun of BTDT and watched Gabrielle as Xena is leaving after the scene I quoted at the start of this. She really does look like she's just figuring something out, and is about to say something to Joxer about it. So I thought, Why not? And a fic was born. ^_~ I did always sort of feel that I got inside Jox's head pretty well when I was quoting that dialogue... made it enjoyable. ^_^ Aaand, that's about it, I guess...
