Do you think Joxer and Gab would get together?

Well... I can't really answer that exactly, because it's not what this site is about, for one thing. Also, there are just so many ways to think of that question.

Do I think they should have gotten together? Meh, well, I used to. But then I lost a lot of interest in the show, and I started losing the shippery aspect of my interest. Wanting them to get together wouldn't really accomplish anything, because it won't rewrite the direction the show took. Besides, I can't really see how the show would have handled it without pissing a lot of people off.

Do I think they could have gotten together? Depends, really. I saw potential for it, but I also saw signs that it wouldn't have ever happened. I think they were compatible in the long run, but that doesn't mean that the chemistry would've been there, or that they were actually what the other was really looking for for long-term.

Do I think that, if the show hadn't gone where it did... See, that's a bad path to go down. Because it involves second-guessing the motives of the show's staff, beyond just speculating. If they hadn't had the 25-Year-Jump, anything could have happened. They might have woken up the next morning and said "Aw heck, let's tell Joxer about us. He deserves to know after all this time." Or Joxer might have gotten killed a week later (or Gab, or Xena, or whatever). Or five years down the line, Gab might have decided she wanted a baby and gone to Joxer for help. Or... etc. *g* I mean, all could be neat ideas explored in fanfiction, I have no problems with fanfics, those are cool. But to say that, if Lucy hadn't gotten pregnant, they would have/could have done this... that way lies madness. I mean, you don't know what the higher-ups were thinking; and even trying to figure it out is futile, because it's not going to rewrite the direction of the show. So, a shrug and a grin, and TLFENH if that's the way you want to go. *g*
